How is Water, Sewer, Gas, and Electricity Infrastructure supported through APC?

Critical utility infrastructure is foundational to thriving communities. The Acadiana Planning Commission has been positioned as a federally designated Economic Development District and, as such, must develop a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) every five years. As part of this CEDS, APC works with stakeholders to identify which types of infrastructure to focus on. Currently, utility infrastructure such as water, sewage, gas, and electricity has been identified as a priority category for the received federal funding.
